Nice to know how people think. I hope the family politics will never be accepted by TN people and also we dont want to be ruled by a leader to whom family business means more than the need for people.
I dont see anything wrong in electing the present government again.
We need a courageous leader who can boldly reject the demands of government employees who threaten to boycott the office.
We need an un biased leader for whom everyone is same.Let it be either priest or a common man.
We need a leader who doesnt think that family is first.
We need a leader who could be bold.

Ok, I have a question about the action took by this Govt, against Govt. employees. If the present CM did right thing, why she changed her stand after the Parliment election results and gave back all the benefits to the GOVT. employees...?

I am not saying present government is the best. I know the present government could have done a lot better.

BUT,BUT,BUT this present government is far far better than the people who run the party for a family.

First let the family party answer all the questions placed in front of them.

Also, I understand that the present government was favouring a family ( ofcourse I know who they are ) but being from Thanjavur, I know the present government is nowhere compared to what the family party does.

"Family Party" - Gets his own family members the powerful central ministers, projects his own close family member as the next CM where they have so many senior loyal members.

Saravanan - I know we dont have a clean party to vote for. We need to pick a better one. I feel allowing the present government to govern us and take care of us for another five years will be more appropriate - instead of allowing a Family to rule the state.

I was thinking one educated , senior congress member who started a party (saying AIDMK and DMK are waste and they dont care about tamil nadu ) would set a better political stage in tamil nadu. But this educated ( I Hate to say this ..still I cannot hide his qualification who got his degree from abroad) politician now spends more time in saluting Family party leader rather looking after the financial state of the country. Every time he visits our state, he salutes the family party leader first even before he goes to Congress Bhavan. He did not even allow the Tsunami Relief funds flow to the state. He has controlled the follow of relief funds.

Another central minister from tamil nadu from the family party..sorry from the family...threatens TATA. Shame on us.

Above all, Congress Leader who visited our state says if Family party comes to power then Center will make sure that Rs 2 a kg for rice will be a possibility. Why? If Center really wants to help the poor they should not even wait for the election they should reduce the rice price now. Will they do it?

You keep on say family party. But the person in DMK where properly elected by the people. DMK chief does'nt appoint Dayanith as Mp or Stalin as Mayor. Its the peopls mandat which has brought their family to the polictics. So please stop saying Family party.

Thanks for your brief explanation. I also want to vote for better party not the best party. But your selection is the not right one.

I want to clear some more points here.

That family "guy" has implemented Rs.1/call anywhere from INDIA, why don't you appreciate that one. He took all the necessary steps to bring NOKIA factory to Chennai. You know something... He elected as 3rd best minister, in two different surveys conducted by magazines OUTLOOK and INDIATODAY.

I am telling this though they coming from the family, they proved themselves. Our country needs these kind of active people.

Regarding the rice for Rs.2, Mr.P.Chidambaram already explains clearly, this could be possible if the State Govt, is ready for more "maniyam"(subsidery) in this case Central Govt. will not do anything. That means Central will give rice to the State Govt in the same price, but "maniyam"(subsidery) can increase or decrease by the State Govt. So pls don't think, The central Govt. will reduce the rice price after its "favour" come to the power.


You also simply skipped the "BIG" things done by the family which is favouring to the present CM. Hope you know all their "Thiruvilayadal". The thing is still they are doing the same thing again and again. I wondered, how quickly people like you deny or forgot(accept) these things.

How the People supporting the present government.

This Government has no standards and programme for people.

Their single aim is to earn money through all means.

The Wineshops which are made as Government are run by Studied Persons,thus making educated

one to have a work rather than that. The shops are filled with products of only one

company that all know(Midas). Thus they are gaining for filling their pockets.

Other things are as follows.

1.No Recruitment for the past five years in govt sector.
2.No new projects.
3.Nanguneri project has not be handled .
4.Having no cordial relationship with nearest states and opposition parties
hus we are not getting our share of water and not taking any decision unanimously with parties of Tamil Nadu.
5.The Ministers of the Government are puppets.
6.No Long term with these Government.
7.Last one year their plan is towards Election and many things our new factories has gone to nearer states and they are asking bribe about that factories.
8.Bribing which has lead to the desaltification of sea water has failed.
9.Government has not done anything to develop our language's feature

Im not a DMK supporter. But, please everyone just look at what Jeya did in her two regimes? Could you ever find such a 'mentally disturbed' woman anywhere in the world? Probably not, besides well known tyrants in the past (and of course few in present)!

Her stupidities are very often labelled as 'BRAVENESS' or 'BOLD DECISIONS'. Arresting a leader at mid-night was really a bold move, atleast as bold as arresting the one who she adored a lot just before starting to have confrontations with (Jeyandrar!).

She was very brave to sent her friend's foe to jail using famous Kanja-case(s)!

She has been treating almost everyone in the state by disdaining her own miniters. Did anyone in her ministry dare to speak against her? Or speak what he thinks without consulting her?

As a voter, think! How she started and how she ends her current tenure? Don't you perceive an ugly (I dont want to name it!!!) tactics?
