DMK announced its candidate list, in which DMK candidates are of 127 in number & 5 from other small unrecognized parties contesting in 'Rising SUN' symbol. So a total of 132 candidates are contesting in DMK Symbol Rising SUN.
As usual the main Contestants are : M Karunanidhi from Chepauk and his Son & Thousand Lights sitting MLA MK Stalin from the same constituency.
Unlike AIADMK, DMK has the same old list of people in many places.
